Opening Friday, July 12, with a
reception from 7 to 9 pm is “The Works of Wanxin Zhang,” an exhibition of
ceramic sculptures curated by Jerry Ross Barrish, Artistic Director of Sanchez
Art Center. Zhang will talk about his work at 4 pm on Sunday, August 11.
Showing concurrently are “Shifting the Body: Explorations from the Female
Perspective” from the Asian American Women Artists Association, curated by Pamela
Ybanez; and “Regrets Only,” a group exhibition presented by the Art Guild of
Pacifica. All exhibits run through August 11. Sanchez Art Center is located at
1220 Linda Mar Blvd., Pacifica, CA. Gallery hours during exhibits are Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm during exhibits (except opening nights). SAC
