1 Killed, 2 Hurt In Ferrari—BMW Crash In Pacific Palisades

One person was killed instantly and two others were seriously injured in a rollover crash in Pacific Palisades Tuesday.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Two people were seriously injured and a third person was killed in rollover crash involving a Ferrari and a BMW Tuesday evening in Pacific Palisades.

One person was killed instantly in the crash, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department. Two others — a 35- year-old man and a 50-year-old woman — were taken to nearby hospitals in serious condition. The crash happened at 6:31 p.m. in the 500 block of Chautauqua Boulevard, said Stewart.

The driver of the Ferrari lost control of the car while heading southbound, authorities told ABC7. The Ferrari slammed into the oncoming BMW, causing it to flip on its side against a parked car, authorities said.

The cause of the crash remain under investigation, and residents are advised to avoid the area during the ongoing investigation.
