1 Shot In West LA, Shooter Remains At Large

A man was shot in the early morning hours on Westwood Boulevard Monday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A man was shot and wounded in West Los Angeles early Monday morning, and the shooter remains at large.

The shooting was reported at 1:40 a.m. in the 1900 block of Westwood Boulevard, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Rosario Cervantes.

"We do have a male victim, who self-transported to the hospital in stable condition," she said.

The shooter is also believed to be a man, but authorities did not immediately have a description of the suspect nor the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
