Car Plunges 3 Stories From Atop Beverly Center Parking Structure
Two people were hospitalized Thursday when a car fell three stories onto cars below on North La Cienega Boulevard.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A car plunged three stories down from a parking garage at the Beverly Center, injuring two people Thursday afternoon.
Two people were hospitalized Thursday after the car fell the three stories hitting vehicles on the ground below. The bizarre incident happened at about 1:20 p.m. in the 100 block of North La Cienega Boulevard, near the Beverly Center, according to Officer Jeff Lee of the Los Angeles Police Department. The crash closed down a portion of the busy street.
Fire crews received a call that two patients were trapped in the car, but no one was trapped upon arrival, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
