Fight Hunger at Sunday's Pacific Palisades Farmers Market!
Volunteer to collect donations of produce at the Pacific Palisades Farmers Market every Sunday 12 pm - 2 pm. 100% goes to local food banks.
Food Forward recovers good fresh and healthy food that would otherwise get thrown away and donates it to local food banks. We are at the Pacific Palisades Farmers Market every Sunday from 12 pm - 2 pm collecting donations from Farmers who have extra unsold fruits and vegetables at the end of the market. All of the produce we collect gets donated to food banks in the Pacific Palisades area.
Volunteers pass out boxes to farmers, collect boxes full of fresh produce, and weigh and sort produce to be donated. All you need are comfortable work clothes and shoes. Email volunteer@foodforward.org or go to http://foodforward.org/events/ to sign up!
