Fire Damages Home In Pacific Palisades

Firefighters made quick work of a house fire that broke out in Pacific Palisades Wednesday morning.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A small fire damaged a home in Pacific Palisades Wednesday morning. Firefighters were able to knock down the blaze before it tore through the house.

The fire broke out just before 9 a.m. in the 15900 block of West Asilomar Boulevard in Pacific Palisades. It took 36 firefighters less than 15 minutes to put out the blaze, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

"Firefighters contained the fire to one room of the home, preventing further extension," she said.

No one was injured in the fire. Authorities are still investigating the cause.
