Fire Sweeps Scorches Pacific Palisades Home

It took crews 40 minutes to put out a stubborn attic fire at a large Pacific Palisades Home.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A stubborn fire scorched a large home in Pacific Palisades Sunday night. The blaze took 26 firefighters 40 minutes to battle, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire presented conundrum for crews, who arrived at the scene of the blaze in the 15900 block of West Alcima Ave shortly after 10:16 p.m. Sunday.

"Firefighters arrived to a large, two-story single family dwelling with nothing showing; however on investigation crews located an attic fire,", Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.

Eventually, crews put out the attic fire, Stewart said.

No injuries were reported, she said.
