Fire Tears Through Pacific Palisades Home
A home in Pacific Palisades was badly damaged by fire Thursday night before crews could put out the blaze.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A fire damaged a two-story home in Pacific Palisades Thursday night before firefighters were able to put it out.
Crews battled the fire inside a townhouse for about 25, minutes before extinguishing the blaze. The fire broke out at at 7:04 p.m, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department. The flames tore through a 4,806-square foot, two-story home at 16880 Avenida de Santa Ynez.
The department dispatched 30 firefighters to the scene and knocked down the flames, Humphrey said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation, Humphrey said.
