Firefighters Battle House Fire In Pacific Palisades

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Firefighters battled a house fire on North Toyopa Drive in the Pacific Palisades area Wednesday afternoon.

The blaze broke out in the 700 block of North Toyopa Drive just before noon Wednesday, said Los Angeles Fire Department Spokesman Nicholas Prange. Firefighters made quick work of the blaze, halting its spread throughout the house.

"It seems like the the laundry room was engulfed when they got there, and they quickly put it out," Prange said.

Firefighters remained on scene to make sure none of the blaze spread into the walls or attic.
