Getty Fire School Closures For Wednesday

Several LAUSD schools affected by the Getty Fire will remain closed Wednesday, but a handful of previously closed schools will reopen.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Several Los Angeles Unified schools serving communities affected by the Getty Fire will remain closed Wednesday while a handful announced plans to reopen after two days of closures.

The following schools will remain closed Wednesday:

  • Brentwood Elementary;
  • Canyon Elementary;
  • Community Magnet;
  • Kenter Canyon Elementary;
  • Marquez Elementary;
  • Palisades Elementary;
  • Palisades Charter High School;
  • Revere Middle School;
  • Roscomare Elementary;
  • Topanga Elementary; and
  • Warner Elementary.

The following schools will reopen Wednesday with limmited outdoor activities:

  • Brockton Elementary;
  • Emerson Middle School;
  • Fairburn Elementary;
  • Nora Sterry Elementary;
  • University High School; and
  • Westwood Elementary.
