Injured Bicyclist Rescued Near Pacific Palisades

A bicyclist was taken to a hospital by helicopter after he reportedly sustained injuries from a fall on Sullivan Fire Road in Los Angeles.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A bicyclist was air-hoisted by a helicopter crew after he suffering a fall along Sullivan Fire Road near Pacific Palisades Saturday morning, officials said.

Rescue crews were dispatched to the remote area at 8:13 a.m., where they located a man with unspecified non-life-threatening injuries, Brian Humphrey, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department wrote in an alert. The man was taken to an area hospital.

No other details were immediately available.
