Hiker Falls, Rescued By Helicopter In Sullivan Canyon Park

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA -- A man hiking in Sullivan Canyon Park Saturday in the Pacific Palisades area fell and was found clinging to the side of a hill before he was hoisted by fire department helicopter to paramedics and released, authorities said.

Firefighters were called at 4:56 p.m. to 1541 North Casale Rd., Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Amy Bastman said.

The man was taken by helicopter to paramedics who evaluated him and released him from care, Bastman said.
