Hiker Rescued In Pacific Palisades

A woman was injured while hiking in Pacific Palisades Tuesday and had to be hoisted to safety.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Los Angeles firefighters worked to rescue a woman injured while hiking in Pacific Palisades Tuesday afternoon.

A 60-year-old woman was hurt while hiking near the 2200 block of Sullivan Fire Road in Pacific Palisades, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department. Due to the terrain, rescuers had to hoist her to safety. The woman was in fair condition, added Stewart.
