Photography radically changed that with the invention of the camera and the creation of the ﬁrst permanent image in 1826 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce.  Today, considering 1.1 billion photos were uploaded to Facebook over the 48 hours of New Year's Eve and New Years Day of 2013, we can safely say photography has changed our lives more than almost any invention of its times.
