PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A hiker broke her ankle and had to be airlifted from Temescal Gateway Park in Pacific Palisades Sunday.Los Angeles Fire Department received a report of an injured hiker at 2:18 p.m. Sunday south of Temescal Canyon Falls, according to department spokesman Brian Humphrey.Paramedics treated her at the scene and hoisted her into a hovering LAFD rescue helicopter to be transported to a local hospital, added Humphrey.
