Injured Hiker Airlifted In Pacific Palisades

Firefighters worked to rescue a hiker who injured her leg in the Pacific Palisades.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A hiker who injured her leg in Temescal Canyon Park was airlifted to safety Thursday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters worked to rescue a woman injured while hiking near the 900 block of North Temescal Canyon Road in the Pacific Palisades area. Crews planned to hoist the 59-year-old woman aboard a helicopter for transport to a local hospital.
