LAPD Shuts Down 405 Freeway To Arrest Burglary Suspect
Police shut down all northbound lanes of the 405 Freeway near the Sepulveda Pass Tuesday during the afternoon rush hour.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police shut down all northbound lanes of the San Diego (405) Freeway near the Sepulveda Pass during rush hour Tuesday afternoon to arrest a man wanted for a string burglaries across the San Fernando Valley.
Los Angeles Police Department took the man into custody at about 4:15 p.m. on the northbound 405, north of Wilshire Boulevard, according to LAPD Officer Mike Lopez.
Authorities did not immediately identify the suspect, but they did say he was wanted for a series of burglaries in the Devonshire division, which includes Canoga Park, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, Northridge, North Hills, Porter Ranch, West Hills and Winnetka, according to police.

Aerial shots at the scene showed all northbound lanes blocked during the police operation.
