Life Is Good For Los Angeles Singles, Study Finds

Single Angelenos are living in the nation's third best city for singles, a new report found.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Single Angelenos facing the holidays alone have some news to be happy about Monday -- they live in the third best city in America for singles, according to the personal finance website Wallethub.

Wallethub's Best & Worst Cities for Singles report compared more than 180 U.S. municipalities across 32 key indicators for a single-friendly atmosphere, including the share of the single population, the number of online dating opportunities and nightlife options per capita.

San Francisco was first on the list, followed by Atlanta, then Los Angeles, which ranked 59th in share of singles, 60th for mobile dating opportunities, eighth for restaurants per capita, 22nd for nightlife options per capita and 69th in the crime rate.
