Tonight is the deadline to apply for federal aid connected to the Palisades Fire.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The deadline to apply for federal disaster assistance connected to the Palisades Fire is 8:59 p.m. Monday.
That's the deadline for:
- Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance
- Small Business Administration loans
- Disaster unemployment assistance
Impacted residents can apply online, at a Disaster Recovery Center or by calling FEMA at 800-621-3362.

Tonight's deadline comes after officials extended another fire-related deadline last week.
Property owners now have until April 15 to opt in to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers fire debris-removal program. Officials are urging residents to complete "right of entry" forms regardless of whether they've settled on using the Army Corps or their own private contractors.
