Palisades Neighbor Dispute Escalated Into Overnight Standoff: Report
Police said a man ripped the door off his neighbor's home and engaged in an overnight standoff Tuesday morning.
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A dispute between neighbors that began Monday night continued into Tuesday morning after a man ripped a door off his neighbor's home and later barricaded himself in a standoff against police, according to KCAL.
The incident began around 11 p.m. Monday near the 17200 block of Sunset Boulevard, when the Los Angeles Police Department received a 911 call about a neighbor acting aggressively toward a woman at an apartment complex, KCAL reported.
The man, described by police as extremely hostile, barricaded himself and was taken into custody after sunrise Tuesday morning. News video shows the man, shirtless and wrapped in an American flag, being wheeled into an ambulance on a gurney.
