PCH Brush Fire In Pacific Palisades Extinguished
Ground and air crews from the Los Angeles and Santa Monica fire departments helped put out the flames burning in steep terrain.
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA —A brush fire broke out in Pacific Palisades Friday night, scorching 1.5 acres of steep hillside before firefighters doused the flames.
It took crews just under an hour to put out the brush fire that broke out shortly after 5 p.m. in the 14800 block of Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The steep terrain made it a challenging effort, and ground and air crews from Los Angeles and Santa Monica helped put out the fire, said Nicholas Prange spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No one was hurt in the fire, and no homes were threatened.
