Silver Alert: 87-Year-Old Missing In Pacific Palisades
Authorities are asking for help finding Fred Saxer, an 87-year-old man last seen in Pacific Palisades Wednesday afternoon.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Authorities and the loved ones of an 87-year-old man who went missing in Pacific Palisades are asking for help safely returning him home Thursday.
Fred Saxer was last seen Wednesday afternoon at approximately 3:15 p.m. near Lachman Lane and Luna Vista Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued a Silver Alert for him on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Saxer, who weighs 200 pounds and stands at 5 feet 8 inches tall, has blue eyes and is bald. He was last seen wearing a yellow sweatshirt, gray pants and gray shoes.

Anyone who sees him or has knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
