St. Matthew's Parish Annual Christmas Faire

The Parish of St. Matthew invites all to its Christmas Faire on Friday, November 20th 6pm-9pm

We hope that the entire Pacific Palisades community will join the Parish of St. Matthew for our annual Christmas Faire on Friday, November 20, 2015 6pm-9pm in the church’s Sprague Auditorium.

There will be an abundance of great items; sports tickets, hotel getaways, beauty treatments from top estheticians and toys for kids of all ages in the incredible silent auction. You can get some great goodies for those on your Christmas list – regardless of whether not they’ve been naughty or nice – while doing good for our community.

The theme of this year’s Faire is Hands of Hope because, as Jeremiah 29:11 instructs, “For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” The Christmas Faire is a longtime church tradition and a joyful occasion as all of the net proceeds from the evening are donated to the church’s outreach partners. A complete list of the religious and non-religious non-profits who will benefit from the event are listed below.

Three of the four Christmas Faire co-chairs are Pacific Palisades residents: Christel Smith Durkin and Cary Sinnott who will serve as auction co-chairs with Lyndsie Cardito and Malibu’s Amy Beal serving as the event co-chairs.

“We hope to welcome friends – both old and new – and neighbors,” says Durkin of her second year as co-chair, “to this joyous evening that embodies the holiday spirit.” Cardito, who is also chairing for the second year adds, “the work our Outreach partners do is so important, it’s an honor to support them.”

Beal and Sinnott are co-chairing for the first time and, “look forward to making our Outreach partners even more effective with the funds raised.”
