Student Threatens Palisades Charter High School
The Pacific Palisades school reportedly received the threat via social media.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA – Palisades Charter High School received a threat via social media, so extra patrols will be planned Tuesday in response, officials said.. Authorities say it's not regarded as portending danger. Detectives are monitoring the situation but have determined there is no credible threat at this time, said Detective Ross Nemeroff of the Los Angeles Police Department's media relations office.
Many parents are planning to keep their children home Tuesday as a precaution, CBS2 reported. The threat was posted Monday night and warns students to not go to school Tuesday, according to an email sent to parents by school administrators, the station reported.
The school informed parents of the threat Monday night and contacted police. Police said extra patrols are planned at the campus.
