Suspect Arrested In Spate of Westside Sexual Attacks
Police suspect a 32-year-old man went on a rampage last week attacking women on the street and in their homes.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police arrested a Los Angeles man suspected in a string of sexual batteries across the Westside.
A 32-year-old Carlos Vazquez Castro man face possible felony charges for allegedly attacking women on the street and in their homes along an 11-mile stretch from Santa Monica to Westlake, KTLA reported. Castro was arrested at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday hours after authorities released images of the man suspected in the attacks.
The attacks occurred Wednesday afternoon along the Olympic Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard corridors, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Specific locations were not disclosed.

Castro's bail was set at $1 million and the case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for possible criminal filing, according to the LAPD, which declined to release additional information about the investigation.
