There's a New Banc in Town

Banc of California has opened a new bank branch in Pacific Palisades.

Located at 530 Palisades Drive in the Palisades Highlands Village Plaza, the branch will be headed by Rena Alekperova.

“I am excited to join Banc of California and bring their brand of fair and simple banking to the Palisades,” she said in a statement.

Banc of California has already been active in Pacific Palisades – CEO Steven Sugarman lives here even though the bank is based in Irvine – by sponsoring the inaugural Pacific Palisades Turkey Trot, and supporting Palisades Elementary Charter School.

“As a resident of the Palisades, I am delighted to bring our bank’s unique service model to the neighborhood. I am also thrilled to have Rena and her team join the Banc of California.  Rena has been a tremendous asset to the Palisades community for the last decade and we are excited to provide her the products and resources to continue to serve the community well.” said Sugarman said.
