To Catch a Thief?
Palisadian makes plea, offers $200 reward for the safe return of her missing black leather planner, which was taken during a Jan. 21 visit to Cafe Vida.
On January 21, 2011, local Joy Moeller was lunching at Cafe Vida on Antioch Street and while she was away from her seat, her black binder was snatched. Cafe Vida's security cameras caught images (see photo gallery) of a Caucasian man in a striped shirt who, whether on purpose or by accident, appears to have taken the binder.
If anyone out there has an idea of who this person is, please contact Captain Michael Moore at at 27995@lapd.lacity.org or phone 310-444-0737. If anyone finds the black binder, contact Moeller (at her info below).

"To all the Palisadians out there: If anyone can help me find the man in the blue-and-white striped shirt who took my daytimer, I would so appreciate it.
I had lunch at Cafe Vida on Jan 21st at 2:30 p.m. and had to leave suddenly and I left my black binder (daytimer) under the chair I was sitting in...I left...and when I returned to Cafe Vida, it was gone!

I posted reward signs everywhere with no luck...One of the owners of Cafe Vida offered to let me watch the surveliance video with him. There, we saw an older gentleman lean over and pick up the binder and walk out.
I had every person I know in the world, phone numbers and addresses in the book, my entire appointments for a year, money, checks and most important, family photos that are irreplaceable and medical information on patients and myself.
I will offer a $200.00 reward for the information if anyone can find this person. Thank you so much!"
