An Illustrated book of Mid-Century memories and stories of the Palisades titled "A Town Called Pacific Palisades"
Great memories of the time when Pacific Palisades Village was home to many family owned businesses and colorful local characters.

"A Town Called Pacific Palisades" is a new illustrated book containing 34 memorable businesses, and their histories, that once existed in the Pacific Palisades. This collection includes the Palisades Hobby Shop, the Hot Dog Show, Village Books, the Bay Theater as well as several of the buildings that were recently demolished on Swarthmore, such as Playcraft Toys / Morts Delicatessen and Allegro Music, among others. With each painting is a brief background of these memorable places written by Lisa Kurtz Sutton, Tim Doherty and David Doherty explaining not only the the stores they contained but the story of some of the structures themselves .
