Two Small Earthquakes Hit Malibu
Both magnitude-3.0. quakes shook the area this weekend.

Two earthquakes shook the Malibu area this weekend. One hit Friday night and the other early Saturday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, Friday's earthquake was a magnitude-3.0, which struck three miles west-southwest of Malibu at 7:15 p.m. According to the Los Angeles Times, the epicenter was eight miles from Westlake Village.
Saturday's quake also registered at 3.0 and was centered 32 miles from Malibu at 2:53 a.m., recorded the USGS. The LA Times reported the epicenter was 34 miles from Channel Islands Beach.
