PALM DESERT, CA — One person was rushed to a hospital after suffering moderate injuries in a three-vehicle crash in Palm Desert Saturday.

The crash was reported around 4:10 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Highway 111 and Monterey Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

One vehicle ended up on its side, leaving a person trapped and requiring extrication. The patient was rushed to a hospital with moderate injuries. A description of the person was not provided.
