1 Shot Dead Outside Cathedral City Strip Club: Police

Two other people were shot in the gang-related incident, according to police.

CATHEDRAL CITY, CA — Three people were shot, one of them fatally, in a gang-related confrontation outside a Riverside County strip club, police reported Wednesday. The 24-year-old victim who died at the hospital was identified as an Indio resident.

Jason Rosas, 24, was shot along with two other men sometime before 2 a.m. in the parking lot of the Showgirls Gentlemen's Club, 68444 Perez Road, according to Cathedral City Police Chief Travis Walker.

"The preliminary investigation shows that there was a fight between two groups of out of area rival gang
members inside of the club," Walker said in a news release. "Shortly after being ejected from the club by on-site security, one suspect produced a handgun and shot the victims in the parking lot."
