11 Coachella Valley Residents to be Honored at Senior Inspirations Awards
The honorees are from across Coachella Valley and Idyllwild.

COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — Eleven Coachella Valley seniors will be honored Friday during the 34th annual Senior Inspiration Awards luncheon for their volunteerism.
The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Conference Center.
"The Senior Inspiration Awards is an event that has an impact, inspiring us all to work towards making our communities better," county Fourth District Supervisor V. Manuel Perez said in a statement. "It's always a fun time, a beautiful occasion and seniors love it."

Perez and mayors from the valley's nine cities are expected to attend to honor the 11 local seniors on behalf on their respective communities.
The honorees will be: Regina Caron of Idyllwild; Pilar Funez of the community of Thermal; Michael Kocan of Cathedral City; Refugio Sanchez of Coachella; Daniel Coward of Desert Hot Springs; Greg Renker of Indian Wells; Raquell Harris of Indio; Kathleen O'Regan of La Quinta; Carla Sullivan-Dilley of Palm Desert; David Hyams of Palm Springs; and William Sachs of Rancho Mirage.

Each honoree will donate $1,000 provided by the Regional Access Project Foundation to a charity of the honorees' choice.
