2 Injured In Coachella Valley Crash

PALM SPRINGS, CA -- Two motorists were severely injured after their vehicles collided on a road in Palm Springs early Sunday morning, according to police. The crash took place at 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Ramon Road and South Sunrise Way, police said.
Officers responded to the scene and called paramedics who transported both drivers to the hospital with serious injuries, police said. Their current conditions were unknown.
Police said alcohol appeared to be a factor in this crash.

The intersection of East Ramon Road and South Sunrise Way was temporarily closed but reopened at 6:10 a.m., according to police.
