
PALM SPRINGS, CA – The fourth annual Palm Springs Women's Jazz Festival will begin its three-day run of female-led jazz performances tomorrow night.
The festival kicks off with an opening night celebration that includes a presentation of the Jazz Masters Award to multi-Grammy and Tony Award-winning vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater. Bridgewater will also perform Saturday night at the Palm Springs Art Museum's Annenberg Theater.
Tomorrow night will also feature a performance from vocalist and Tony Award nominee Ann Hampton Callaway. Over Labor Day weekend, attendees will be treated to daytime performances over lunch, starting with a noon Saturday performance at the Indian Canyons Country Club by smooth jazz saxophonist Pamela Williams.

Sunday's champagne brunch performance at the Hard Rock Hotel will feature four performances paying tribute to legendary jazz divas. The greatest hits of Aretha Franklin, Rickie Lee Jones, Elena Burke, and Julie London will close out the festival.
