4 Displaced By Residential Fire In Desert Hot Springs

The American Red Cross was requested to assist the two adults and two children displaced by the fire.

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — A residential fire in Desert Hot Springs displaced two adults and two children Saturday.

The fire was reported around 6:10 a.m. Saturday in the 9000 block of Silver Star Avenue, where firefighters found the attached garage of a single-story residence fully involved with flames, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Fire crews were able to knock down the fire just before 6:50 a.m.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
