See U of A Vs. Michigan; UCSD, Arkansas State, Hawaii,Texas RG Vie For Invitational Title

PALM DESERT, CA — Thanksgiving week is a perfect time to think about college hoops, and Palm Desert's Acrisure Arena is hosting a multi-day college basketball classic and invitational tournament. From Thanksgiving Thursday through to Saturday, things will be all basketball in Palm Desert.

The Acrisure Classic will take place starting at 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23. The Michigan State Spartans will compete against the University of Arizona Wildcats in this tournament is sponsored by Acrisure, the global fintech leader. This event will be nationally televised, and tickets are already on sale at Ticketmaster. This event will be nationally televised following the FOX Thanksgiving Day football game.

On Friday and Saturday, the Acrisure Invitational tournament will be played to determine the "coast to coast" champion.

The invitational games begin at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, and complete Saturday, Nov. 25, at Acrisure Arena.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and will be available online at either acrisurearena.com and Ticketmaster.com. A two-day pass is available, according to organizers.

On Friday, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley men's basketball team will play against the University of Hawaii.

The University of San Diego Toreros will compete against the Arkansas State Red Wolves.

Acrisure Arena holds an 11,000-seat capacity, according to the venue.
