PALM SPRINGS, CA — The Palm Springs Writers Guild is planning a little holiday magic this year for book lovers across the Coachella Valley..
On December 13, 2025, the guild is holding an interactive book festival at the Rancho Mirage Library from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The free book fest offers readers a chance to meet local authors, listen to readings, attend author panels, and get signed books in time for the holidays.
"This family-friendly event will feature forty local authors, primarily members of PSWG, who write in a range of genres," Judith Brenner, board member of the guild and Director of Marketing, told Patch. "The Guild will also offer a free writing workshop for anybody who has the dream of someday writing a book."
It’s only fitting to have this event hosted again at the beautiful Rancho Mirage Library in time for holiday shopping.
The Palm Springs Writers Guild holds regular meetings, in-person workshops, online labs, and events. To learn more, visit www.PalmSpringsWritersGuild.org.
