INDIO, CA — The iconic hitmaker Madonna says pieces she wore during her April 17 surprise performance with Sabrina Carpenter at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio are now missing, and she's offering a reward for their return.
In an announcement shared to her Instagram Stories, the 67-year-old Material Girl said she was still "flying high"after sharing the Main Stage with the 26-year-old Short n' Sweet songstress.
The two performed "Vogue," "Like a Virgin," and a song that may appear on Madonna's upcoming album, "Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II." The legendary diva made it known she was wearing the exact same corset, boots, and Gucci jacket that she wore at her Coachella debut 20 years ago.
"Bringing Confessions II back to where it began was such a thrill!" the Instagram Stories post read.
The first "Confessions on a Dance Floor" — released in November 2005 — was Madonna's 10th studio album.
But all did not go smoothly for the ageless singer at this year's Coachella fest.
"This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing — my costume that was pulled from my personal archives — jacket, corset, dress and all other garments," the Instagram post continued.
"These aren't just clothes, they are part of my history," the singer said. "Other archival items from the same era went missing as well."
Madonna said she is "hoping and praying that some kind soul" will find the items and reach out to her team at Infomaverick2026@gmail.com.
The singer is offering a reward for the items' safe return, but no amount was specified.
The Indio Police Department confirmed that a representative of the singer filed a missing property report, but said there was no evidence that the items were intentionally stolen.
The items were last seen on a golf cart. A preliminary investigation found that two bags containing the wardrobe pieces may have fallen off the cart while staff were transporting them to a bus, police said.
The bags were discovered missing only after staff arrived at a hotel, police said.
