RivCo Restaurant Named In CA Michelin Guide: See Why It's Not To Be Missed

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Michelin has added a new Riverside County restaurant to its California Guide, joining 20 others from Silicon Valley to San Diego.

The addition of restaurants to the Michelin Guide occurs twice a year and is separate from Michelin's Stars and Gourmand awards, which will be revealed at a ceremony in June, 2026.

"Michelin Guide Inspectors spend the entire year on the road seeking out the best restaurants to recommend — and what they've found is too good to keep a secret," reads an announcement from Michelin.

In Riverside County, this restaurant was added to the May Michelin Guide with descriptions from the publication:

Alice B. — Palm Springs
American Contemporary, Mediterranean: Located at 1122 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way in Palm Springs.

"Alice B., from Chefs Sue Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken, is an inviting restaurant located within the Living Out community in Palm Springs. The dining room, tucked away from the bar serving its own bites, is a warm and inviting space set with flickering candles, stone tables and comfortably cushioned seating."

According to OpenTable, the restaurant offers New American cuisine inspired by the extraordinary life of Alice B. Toklas and her travels through Europe.

"Our dinner, bar and happy hour menus evolve frequently with the seasons and have earned us placement in Los Angeles Times’ 101 Best Restaurants in California and Eater LA’s Best Palm Springs Restaurants," they say. Now, the Michelin Guide is added to that list of accolades for Alice B.

When visiting, one should stop by Gertie's Salon & Bar, now open at Alice B.,from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

"Settle in for elevated bites, well-made drinks, and live music on select nights. The perfect place to start your evening or end it right."

Mary Sue Milliken & Susan Feniger are the founders of Mundo Hospitality Group, which includes their newest venture, Alice B., along with other restaurants, Border Grill, Pacha Mamas, and BBQ Mexicana.
