Elderly Woman Last Seen In Riverside County Found: Sheriff

INDIO, CA — A 75-year-old woman who went missing after she was last reported seen in Indio was found Thursday, authorities said.

The California Highway Patrol issued a silver alert for Sarah Lynn Eades, who was last seen around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday near Indio Springs Drive and Vista Del Norte Road. The silver alert was issued on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, according to the CHP.

CHP said Eades was found at an unspecified location Thursday morning. The circumstances behind her disappearance were not disclosed.

The silver alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
