PALM DESERT, CA — Sunline Transit Agency will host its 12th annual school donation drive, in which essential school supplies will be collected Thursday in Palm Desert.
"Pack the Bus" will be held until 7 p.m. Thursday at the Walmart store at 34-500 Monterey Ave. Accepted school supplies include backpacks, calculators, pencils, crayons, folders and notebooks, notebook paper, three- ring binders, rulers and pens.
The agency announced that all donations will benefit the John F. Kennedy Memorial Foundation.
The Coachella Valley Firebirds community team will support the drive with an inflatable puck-shoot activity.
