DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle in Desert Hot Springs late Tuesday night, police said.
The crash was reported around 10 p.m. on Palm Drive, according to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene and found a man lying in the road with serious injuries. He was transported to a local hospital in "critical but stable condition," police said.
Police said the vehicle involved left the scene and has not been located yet.
No description of the vehicle or the suspect were available.
