Dead Man Found Hanging From Bridge In Indio ID'd As Local Resident

INDIO, CA — A dead man found hanging from the Fred Waring Bridge in Indio has been identified as a local resident.

The body of Patricio Reyes III, 36, of Indio, was discovered at approximately 7:22 a.m. Friday by a cyclist who was riding on the CV Link. The bridge is located about 840 feet east of Madison Street.

Indio police confirmed the death, secured the CV Link, and found no signs of foul play.

The coroner has not yet determined an approximate time of death.
