BLYTHE, CA — A collision involved two vehicles left two people injured and caused traffic to pile up on the 10 Freeway near Blythe.
The crash was reported shortly after 3 p.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway west of Blythe Airport, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
One person was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance. The second patient was transported by helicopter, fire officials said.
The conditions of both patients was not known.
