PALM SPRINGS, CA —Though splashy, big-name properties may fill travelers' bucket lists, in the city of Palm Springs, one quiet historic hotel has drawn international acclaim.
The Andalusian Court, located at 458 West Arenas Road in Palm Springs, is known worldwide for its compelling history, clientele and gorgeous grounds, according to the travel website Eviivo and its“under the radar” and hidden gem properties list. It is the only hotel in the United States that made the list.
The Andalusian Court is one of the oldest resort properties in Palm Springs and is one of the few Palm Springs hotels to offer private garden patios with lush greenery and outdoor soaking tubs. "Our charming retreat provides quiet time for serenity, relaxation, reflection, and romance," the hotel's website said.

This unassuming property comprises seven well-appointed guest suites and star treatment for all guests upon request. Rooms include full kitchens that can be stocked with groceries and wine before your arrival. In-room spa services are also available, as is a romance package that includes handmade truffles, Andalusian Court Brut sparkling wine in a silver champagne bucket, red and white silk rose petals sprinkled on the bed and a dozen long-stemmed roses.
"They roll out the red carpet for all guests. The hotel has a compelling history that makes it worth booking," according to Eviivo Director of Global Public Relations Jimmy Im.

The Andalusian Court boasts lavish suites, an outdoor heated pool, and romance packages, and it has been a magnet to the Hollywood elite for almost a century.
The hotel has been visited by some of the most iconic Hollywood celebrities from the golden age of TV, according to Im. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, of "I Love Lucy" fame, and actors Vic Morrow and Victor Mature have stayed at the property.
