Annenberg Center Welcomes New President and CEO
Michael Hite named President and Chief Executive Officer.

The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower welcomes Michael Hite as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Hite will oversee strategic and operational activities for the accredited, not-for-profit organization that provides continuing medical education to physicians, nurses and health care professionals worldwide. He will also foster collaborative relationships with like-minded organizations and enhance the Center’s educational and research activities with the Eisenhower Medical Center.
“Michael brings more than two decades of medical education experience to the Annenberg Center,” says Merle Bolton, MD, President, Board of Directors, Annenberg Center for Health Sciences. “We are thrilled to have someone of Michael’s caliber and background to help propel the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower through its next stage of growth and development. He will be a valuable asset to the Center and to the continuing medical education community.”
Mr. Hite previously served as consultant for California Family Health Council, a nonprofit organization that champions and promotes quality sexual and reproductive health care for all. He has also consulted for Evidence-Based Solutions, a health IT start-up developing a novel clinical decision support solution that facilitates more accurate diagnosis and appropriate patient management.

Prior to that, Mr. Hite served as Chief Executive Officer for The Foundation for Better Health Care (FBHC), a nonprofit organization that produced accredited continuing medical education conferences, meetings, publications and e-activities for health care professionals. Under Mr. Hite’s leadership, FBHC received a six-year accreditation with commendation from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.

Eisenhower Medical Center is a not-for-profit, comprehensive health care institution that includes the 476-bed Eisenhower Hospital, the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center at Eisenhower and the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower. The Betty Ford Center is also located on the Eisenhower campus. The Medical Center is renowned for its Centers of Excellence in Orthopedics, Cardiovascular, Neuroscience and Oncology.
