Annual 'Broadway in Drag!' Returns To Palm Canyon Theatre

From the City of Palm Springs: Every audience member has a vote in one of the most anticipated and glamorous events of Palm Springs Pride weekend! Tickets for the 7th Annual “Broadway in Drag” pageant are now on sale. Everyone can judge these lovely ladies as they strut their stuff across the Palm Canyon Theatre stage, vying for bragging rights as one of this year’s top Broadway divas.
This outrageous evening of splendor, song and style begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, November 3 on the Palm Canyon Theatre stage. These “triple-threat” contenders weave their own unique panache into their impersonations of Broadway’s most beloved stars in both evening gown and talent competitions.
Many audience favorites will be back, including past winners and runner-ups from previous Broadway in Drag shows. Expected in the competition are Anita Rose, Sheena Wolfe, Kandi Stars, Fabeyonce and others. Special Guest acts include members of PCT’s Priscilla Queen of the Desert cast, playing at the theatre through November 12. Also anticipated for special performances are Keex Rose, Jayla D Fox, Calypso Ross and Keisha D.

All seats are $50 and include a voting ballot. Broadway in Drag is an Official Palm Springs Pride Event and benefits the organization, which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

The Palm Canyon Theatre is centrally located in the beautiful Uptown Design District of Palm Springs, 538 North Palm Canyon Drive, at the corner of Alejo and Palm Canyon Drive, across from Koffi inside The Corridor. Box Office hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
