Apartment Fire Displaces 4 In Palm Desert
A dog was among those rescued from the blaze, officials said.
PALM DESERT, CA —Four people have been displaced after a fire broke out at a Palm Desert apartment complex.
The blaze was reported a little after 6 p.m. Tuesday at a complex in the 72000 block of Fred Waring Drive, according to Cal Fire Riverside.
Firefighters reported smoke coming from a two-story apartment building when they first arrived on scene. A dog was rescued from one of the units, and the fire was contained within about a half-hour, according to Cal Fire officials.

Four adults were displaced due to smoke and fire damage in their apartment units, and were being assisted with shelter by the American Red Cross.
Three people, including two firefighters, were medically evaluated, but no one was injured or required treatment, Cal Fire Riverside spokesman Rob Roseen said Wednesday.
