Apparent Suicide In Palm Springs Police Parking Lot: Chief Issues Plea

PALM SPRINGS, CA — The Palm Springs Police Department was investigating an apparent suicide that occurred in the agency's parking lot Sunday.

"This afternoon a desperate man took his life in front of the Palm Springs Police Department, CA station," Police Chief Andy Mills posted on social media.

The incident occurred at approximately 3 p.m. There was no word from police on what transpired. The man's identity was not released.
