Beaumont Unified Issues Statement About L.A. Schools Threat
School continued as normal on Tuesday here in Beaumont.

BEAUMONT, CA- Beaumont Unified School District officials said Tuesday they were monitoring the unprecedented closure of roughly 900 Los Angeles Unified campuses due to a threat, but said there is no credible threat to local schools.
BUSD issued issued a statement saying the district ”will remain vigilant.” All schools within the district continued as scheduled.

“Beaumont Unified School District is aware of the threat made against the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). This is an isolated threat specific to LAUSD only.
Beaumont Unified School District has not been directed by authorities that the threat includes our area schools. All Beaumont schools will be in session today. We are in communication with Beaumont Police and are monitoring the situation. We will remain vigilant and will continue to update you if there are any changes that might affect Beaumont.”
